Based on the “One Health” concept, the MARVEL project recognises the inseparable connection between human, animal and environmental health, with the following main objectives:
- Monitor and mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the Arade River
- Contribute to more informed and efficient environmental management
- Support the protection of biodiversity, aquaculture and public health
MARVEL – Monitorização da Resistência Antimicrobiana e Valorização dos Ecossistemas Locais is a project led by ABC CoLAB, co-funded by the MAR 2030 Programme, Portugal 2030 and the European Union.
