ABC CoLAB participated in the “SPA Innovation Tour”, held at NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region on 24 September, in Loulé.
Organised by KIPt CoLAB as part of the SPA of the Future project, the event featured a range of activities, including technical visits, parallel sessions and focus groups.
Cristina Pedro, researcher at ABC CoLAB, took part in “The Strategic Compass” focus group, alongside Maria Inês Galvão from KIPt CoLAB, Ana Ramos from Green CoLAB, and Lídia Nicolau from S2AQUA CoLAB.
The focus group aimed to gather input and identify the priorities of stakeholders in the spa sector in the Algarve, providing a key contribution to the development of the “SPA of the Future” Strategic Framework, the project’s main outcome.
SPA of the Future is a collaborative project between ABC CoLAB, Green CoLAB and S2AQUA CoLAB, led by KIPt CoLAB and co-funded by Algarve 2030, Portugal 2030 and the European Union, with the aim of accelerating the transition towards a carbon-neutral economy in the tourism sector.
